Boundary Dispute Settled

Our client’s neighbour built a two storey extension almost to the party wall and then wanted to enter our client’s property to finish it.This would have proven very inconvenience for our client. The neighbour brought an application for a Works Order pursuant to the Law Reform and Conveyancing Act 2009 (a new form of remedy). Prior to the hearing we negotiated a written settlement of the dispute to permit the neighbour to enter only at agreed convenience times, to pay a deposit against any damage done and to pay our client’s legal costs.
