Food Hygiene Legislation and Food Premises

Clients who propose taking on commercial premises to use as a café or restaurant must be familiar with the requirements of Food Hygiene legislation. As part of an investigation into title, we will explore any orders made in relation to an existing premises. An option open to a client is to meet personally with the local area Environmental Health Officer at the premises. In our experience, the local Environmental Health Officer will give invaluable guidance to the requirements under the legislation and specific pointers in relation to the premises themselves.
