Permission to Remain for Parents

Our client’s non EEA parents have been given leave to remain. Our client is a naturalised Irish citizen and his parents came here on visitor visas. Because of family circumstances, they decided to seek permission to remain. Unfortunately they were initially issued with notice of intention to make a deportation order. Representations were made to grant them leave to remain which were succesful. The application took 14 months from submission to decision.
