Courts Jurisdiction to Change in February

From 3rd February the jurisdiction of the District Court in civil proceedings will be limited to €15,000 the jurisdiction of the Circuit Court in civil proceedings (other than personal injury claims) will be limited to €75,000 ( but €60,000 in personal injury cases).

It is hoped this will ensure the quicker processing of cases although it remains to be seen what the effect will be.
