Brian S. McGrane

Dip LS, ACI Arb

Brian qualified as a solicitor in 1994. He previously worked in Dockrell Shields and Farrell, Ivor Fitzpatrick & Co. and John P. Redmond & Co. before establishing the practice with Gerard McGrath in 1999. Brian specialises in litigation and in family law. He has over 20 years' experience representing clients in personal injury cases, general litigation and probate litigation, and in all areas of family law.

Brian is a member of the Medico-Legal Society of Ireland, the Family Lawyers Association of Ireland and the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association.

A keen sports man, Brian's interests are in soccer, table tennis and cycling.

Gerard McGrath

BCL, Dip Comm. Law

Gerard (Gerry) qualified as a solicitor in 1988 and worked in Dublin, Limerick and Cork before establishing the practice with Brian McGrane in 1999. He advises on immigration law, commercial work, and general litigation. He has developed a specialty assisting immigrant investors obtain residency following donations to Irish charities (through the IIP) and commercial investments.

Gerry lectures on the Law Society certificate course in immigration law and practice, and heads up the Immigration team at McGrath McGrane LLP.

Gerry is a former international distance runner. He is a level 2 coach with Athletics Ireland and coaches young athletes in DSD Athletic Club. He is also on the board of the women’s mini marathon, the largest sports participation event in Ireland.

Julie Mullan

BA, Dip LS, Dip Emp Law

Julie qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and specialises in conveyancing, commercial lending, probate and employment law. She holds a Diploma in Employment Law from the Law Society of Ireland and leads the Employment Law team at McGrath McGrane LLP in regularly advising employers and employees. Julie gained 7 years’ experience working in a general practice law firm before starting work with the practice in 2006, and becoming a partner in 2018.

Julie is a mentor on the Law Society’s Women in Leadership Mentoring Programme and is a member of the Dublin Solicitor’s Bar Association.

Julie is a one-time marathon runner and her other interests include reading, sailing and powerlifting.

Aileen Gittens

BCL, Dip Emp Law, Dip Adv Immig Law

Aileen qualified as a solicitor in 2013 having trained with one of Ireland’s largest corporate law firms. She joined McGrath McGrane LLP in 2016 and now specialises in immigration law, administrative judicial review and general litigation. Aileen also advises on employment matters. Aileen lectures on the Law Society certificate course in immigration law and practice. She is a founding committee member of the IILA; the Irish Immigration Lawyers Association (www.iila.ie).

Aileen’s interests outside of the law include running, hiking and traveling. She regularly competes in middle distance athletics competitions. She once spent a week in a silent meditation retreat and has not stopped talking since.

Elaine O’Sullivan

LLB, LLM, Cert Immig Law

Elaine qualified as a solicitor in 2017 and works primarily in immigration law, judicial review and surrogracy law. She holds an LLB in Law and European Studies, and an LLM in Human Rights in the Criminal Justice System, both from the University of Limerick.

Elaine’s interests outside work include music and anything creative. She also enjoys cooking and keeping the office plants alive.

Eoghan McMahon

B.Soc.Sc., PGDip.Law, Cert Immig Law.

Eoghan qualified as a solicitor in 2018 having trained in the Galway office of a large litigation practice. As part of his training he spent time in NUI Galway on secondment as a litigation and employment law specialist. On qualification he completed a year in corporate and commercial practice in one of Ireland’s leading commercial firms before joining McGrath McGrane LLP. Eoghan specialises in immigration law, administrative judicial review and civil litigation.

Eoghan’s interests outside of the office include music, reading and running. He still talks about that one half marathon he did 5 years ago. Eoghan is a regular volunteer with FLAC.

Hannah Clinton

BL, LLB.

Hannah qualified as a Solicitor in 2017. Hannah has gained extensive experience in many areas of the law having worked in two general practise firms before joining McGrath McGrane LLP. Hannah now specialises in Conveyancing and Civil Litigation.

Hannah is a regular volunteer with FLAC and her interests outside the office include reading and exercise; in particular kickboxing and weight training. Hannah is no stranger to an obstacle having successfully completed the Tough Mudder event, which she describes as being one of her most gruelling experiences yet.

Taise De Azevedo

LLB.

Taise is a qualified lawyer in Brazil since 2017, in Portugal since 2020 and in Ireland since 2021. Taise has been working with McGrath McGrane LLP as a legal assistant since 2019 and is now with the firm as a solicitor.

Taise specialises in Immigration Law. She is more than happy to discuss any immigration matter with clients in English or Portuguese.

Taise’s interests outside of the law include music and traveling. For the past two years, she has also been helping the Brazilian community in Dublin to find jobs through an Instagram page called @findajobdublin, which has over 10,000 followers.
