We have been authorised by the Legal Services Regulatory Authority (LSRA) to operate as a Limited Liability Partnership from 1st July 2020.
From that date, as set out in section 123 of the Legal Services Regulation Act 2015 (subject to the exceptions listed therein), a partner in McGrath McGrane LLP has no personal liability for any debts, liabilities or obligations which are incurred for the purpose of carrying on the business of McGrath McGrane LLP (whether these are liabilities of a partner in McGrath McGrane LLP or of any employee, agent or representative of McGrath McGrane LLP) and however such liability may arise.
The above relates only to the personal liability of partners and does not prevent or restrict the enforcement against the property of McGrath McGrane LLP of any debt, liability, or obligation.
From 1st July 2020 the Partnership Act 1890 applies to McGrath McGrane LLP to the extent that it is not inconsistent with Chapter 3 of Part 8 of the Legal Services Regulation Act 2015.

I received a phone call late yesterday afternoon informing me that I had been awarded supplementary welfare. Thank you so much for your encouragement, I have been very low and disempowered in this whole story and couldn't have faced the SWO again without your support.
Many thanks for all the support and guidance over the past number of years. If I ever need a solicitor for any reason (but let’s hope not!) I’ll be back- but in any case I’m happy to recommend you to anyone who needs legal support and advice!
Just to let you know that I today received my foreign birth certificate from the Department of Foreign Affairs. I would like to thank you again for your excellent work on my behalf. You made the whole process simple, fast and efficient in a way that I could never have done on my own.
